Charles will take a little time to warm up to you and when he does, he is a very sweet and chatty ‘side kick’ kitty. He will also let you give him those famous belly rubs and just sit with you. Charlie loves treats, wet food, string, catnip, other cats and will tolerate a friendly dog too but is not a fan of loud noises or the vacuum! One more thing about Charles is that he is bonded with his mate Clark aka Tubbins. They have been through a lot together and have always leaned on each other. Our hope is that they will always be together.

Some of you may remember the story of our sweet boy, Scout.
Scout was found with a painful facial injury and it appeared he had just laid down in the snow to die. Luckily someone brought him inside until we could get him. We took him to the vet and it was determined that he had a fractured jaw. The injury was very isolated and strongly suggested he had been kicked or struck with an object. It was heartbreaking to see what this gentle boy had endured.
But we have wonderful news … Scout’s fracture has healed beautifully. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he is now healthy and ready for his next chapter.
Despite his tough experience, Scout just wants to be your best friend. He loves to “talk” and will happily chat away with you, especially if you’re giving him attention.

She would be good in an adult home with kids that are older as she is used to a calmer environment.

Miller is a total gem with a big, funny personality. His foster says he is “big and squishy”. He loves being petted and bonds quickly with his person. If you’re gone, he’ll be waiting at the door to give you a full report when you get home.
He does well with dogs unless they are overly excited and then he hisses and simply walks away. He gets along great with some other cats but tries to bully others, so careful introductions or being the only cat may suit him best.
Miller came to rescue with a severe tail injury that required surgery to remove what was left of it. His fur around the surgical site is still growing back and he is still a bit sensitive in that area but he still remains incredibly sweet-natured.
If you’re looking for a talkative best friend with personality plus, Miller might just be your guy.

Yoshi was sadly left behind when her owners moved. She was later found starving and trying to survive on the streets, something she clearly had no experience doing. Life outdoors was not meant for this gentle girl.
